Seeing Folks from Days of Yore...It's Vacation Time!

In a few days, my son Alex and I are heading off to Colorado for a big huge Kelly Family Reunion! Now these are people that I haven't seen in YEARS. And through those early years they saw me fluxuate from a chubby little kid to a VERY skinny teenager and young woman, then an adult who's physical appearance reflected poor choices and unhealthy habits.
My weight has alwayyyyyyyys been a constant battle and source of Drama for me. But now, I am SO STOKED to be able to head back to this reunion with my BRAND new physique! Quite often I have folks tell me I look better than I did when I was 25, and I would consider those years to be my glory days! Sheesh!
I have managed to drop 54 pounds of FAT off and keep it off. I am training for Volkslauf 10 and am in THEEEE best physical shape I have been in my life! I am not a wealthy celebrity with tons of cash, personal trainers and chefs at my beckon call. I am just like you, an average woman of almost 40 who decided to change her life and I did...

Now, I promised I wouldn't get totally sappy, and this a pretty recent development and no one knows the future. But, I have to say that I am sooooooo very grateful that I did Medifast when I did. THANK GOODNESS because I have been single for the last four years, pretty much exactly where I needed to be. But only very recently have I met an AMAZING new friend!
I am so glad that my body is healthy, happy, toned and slender!!! I feel attractive for the first time in so many years and he is absolutely incredible-- beautiful inside and out! Without Medifast, I would still be sportin' those extra 50 pounds that I thought I would NEVER lose and I wouldn't have had the confidence to even talk to him. You know, getting letters like these makes my heart soar and I literally CRY with happiness. I spoke about this particular gentleman "Ed" a coupla blogs ago and simply cannot believe what I hear and read. He called today also, said it was all because of me. WHAT? I don't have that kind of power.
Honestly, I say to folks like Ed, I am GRATEFUL I had the opportunity to try Medifast back in September. I didn't believe ANYTHING could finally get this extra weight off, but Medifast can and DID! I have even dropped an additional 4 pounds (total loss now 54 pounds) and even more body fat. I can see my body changing and taking the shape of a much younger and Healthier woman. I have people tell me I look better than when I was in my "Glory Days" and new here to Bakersfield at the age of 26 back in 1993!
