Volkslauf 10…Drop and Gimme Some!

Well, well, WELL… OOOOHHHHHRRRAAAAAAAWWWW!!! Volkslauf 10 has been seen and conquered! Whooohooo! The 5k ultimate challenge – Military mud run has been done and I FREAKIN’ FINISHED it! All Five KAYS! Over the walls, through the mud, in the tunnels, and up and over the parallel bars. ME, at almost 40.
A little over a year ago I could barely run around the block! I was over 200 pounds in June of ’05 and I am now 54 pounds down and in the best physical shape of my life! And I owe A BIG part of my Success to Medifast! Medifast gave me the tools to finally get this weight off, quickly and for good!
I whipped through that run and actually did the Monkey Bars start to finish (I was petrified that I couldn’t do them). I have done pull-ups and a 34-minute 5k. These were IMPOSSIBILITIES until I got that weight off...
It was Official...34 minutes!!!! You GO GIRL!!!

Yup, that was me. This past Saturday at a Run for Recovery 5 and 10 k fundraiser for my personal passion and purpose. Now I have been sharing with you that I have started running this year and have pretty much been gearing up for Volkslauf - the big Marine Toys for Tots Mud RUN!!!! But this past Saturday was my FIRST official race as a "Runner"... yeah, me a "RUNNER!"
I had the number pinned to my chest and EVERYTHING!!! And off I went with a hundred other runners to tackle the 3+ miles that lay ahead! And I ran straight through - no walking, no crying, nor gnashing of teeth! And I finished in 34 minutes FLAT!!! That is something I have NEVER done before! And it is all possible thanks to Medifast!
Without losing the 54 pounds and the body fat I could have never accomplished a goal like that! I had always said -- SOMEDAY! And that someday came last September when I started this "Miracle" program...

Hey there, check out this new pic of Medifast Misty, Medifast Ed and Me. Misty is down 45+ pounds, Ed is down 118+ I am down 54...that's a 217 pound weight loss, HOLY SMOKES!!!! That's one big "dude" between us! And we owe it all to Medifast!

We're NATIONWIDE Holy SMOKES! Actually We're global... :> No surprise there! I just got back from an incredible adventure earlier this week! I flew back to the East coast for a BIG ASS Photo shoot and TV Commercial Shoot for Medifast with fellow Medifasters from across the nation!!!! WHAT a thrill it was to see beautiful people that have traveled the same path I have... some down 100+pounds... some down 40... and more!
You will eventually see some of our hard work in Medifast's 2007 ad campaign. Lives are being changed, we HAVE FINALLY FOUND A WAY to be free from the BONDAGE of being overweight!!! As soon as I get some pics back and downloaded from my camera.. I will post and you can enjoy our silliness, celebration and camaraderie!
What a wonderful invention this amazing program is!!!! Please try this for yourself and you will see first hand that there IS finally something that works... that REALLY, TRULY works. I am living proof - it's easy, it's FAST, it's MEDIFAST!!!!!
Back to School. Wow, it was a Quick Summer!

Last week was back to school night for my little one Alex, who is going into the 2nd Grade. As I scurried into the luxurious school grounds, I was stopped by SEVERAL Moms that gushed... Oh MY GAWSH... WHAT ARE YOU DOING???? I was about to tell them I was heading to Mrs. Patterson's Class and they stopped me and said, "No, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU LOOK GREAT!"
I smiled and told them of my almost year-long adventure with Medifast and as I did I was taken aback a bit, because it was just early June that I saw them last! That really wasn't that long ago. Could it be that I have changed that much over the last 3 months??? I am doing a Medifast Transition diet (which I LOVE!) and pretty much thought I was staying right where I need to be. But with their reaction, I see that the results just keep getting better and better!!!!
I am still changing shape, still losing body fat and still resculpting my body! I continue my daily workouts with the Marines getting ready for Volkslauf 10, but this amazing diet has really changed my LIFE!!! What on Earth are you waiting for?
